News & events Dates for confirmed for next UK exclusive autism training course at Prior's Court Prior’s Court has confirmed the dates for its next two 5-Day hands on TEACCH® classroom training courses, offering autism professionals and families further opportunities to develop their understanding and practice. The upcoming 5-Day courses will take place from 2 to 6 November 2026 and 8 to 12 February 2027. As the UK’s only 5-day hands-on TEACCH® classroom training course led by a Clinical Director and the Director of Training from the TEACCH® Autism Program at the University of North Carolina, the programme offers a unique opportunity to learn directly within a specialist educational environment. With course leaders from the home of the TEACCH programme attending, participants benefit from internationally recognised expertise. What is the 5-Day TEACCH course about? The 5-day hands-on TEACCH® classroom training is a broad-based, intensive course for parents and professionals working with autistic individuals. Some of the autistic young people with learning disabilities and complex needs we support will be assisting with the course as Co-Trainers. Note: all Co-Trainers will be of secondary school age and above. Delegates for this course must have either completed a 3-Day Structured Teaching course OR have extensive experience in the autism sector. This shorter course offers a focused introduction to the TEACCH approach - it provides both the theoretical and practical applications of structured teaching. A further 3-Day course has also been announced for 18 to 20 May 2027, providing additional flexibility for those planning ahead.
