A group of volunteers from Newbury Building Society were kept busy come rain or shine during a visit this week.

The team of six got to work sprucing up our School Courtyard area which is hosting our first-ever Outdoor Art Auction on Friday.

This involved plenty of weeding, mowing and strimming the area - which has also helped to make the Courtyard more accessible for the autistic young people we support.

Elsewhere during their busy visit, the team also got to work in the garden of our Parent Room. The Parent Room is an area of our site where young people's families can enjoy spending time with their children when they come to visit. The team got to work giving the hedges of the garden a trim and a general tidy-up of the garden.

Meanwhile, in the Parent Room itself, the volunteers also helped prep for the art auction by cutting and laminating leaflets, information sheets, labels and more for the event.
